Object – process of professional training of future specialists in higher marine educational establishments. Aim – theoretical substantiation and experimental approbation of pedagogical conditions of forming readiness for professional activity of future specialists in higher marine educational establishments with development and introduction of the proper technology of this process. Methods – theoretical, empirical, statistical. Theoretical results and novelty - it is the first time that the sectional-module technology of forming readiness for professional activity of future specialists in higher marine educational establishments have been developed and scientifically substantiated; the criteria ascertained, the levels of formation described, the component analysis of the noted readiness carried out; the functions of pedagogical administration of the process of professional training of officers of the navy outlined, the essence of the notion „readiness for professional activity of specialists of marinespecialties” specified. Practical results and novelty – development of the methods of diagnostics of the levels of readiness for professional activity of specialists of marine specialties, educational and methodical materials aimed at improving the process of education directed at formation and development of professional and personal qualities of future specialists of marine specialties.
