Onyshchenko M. Mapping of Telecommunication Systems of Ukraine: Theoretical and Methodological Foundations, Practical Realization.

Object of research are telecommunication systems of Ukraine, their functional-componental structure, areal organization, function. The basic purpose of research – eleboration of the theoretical and methodological foundations of mapping of telecommunication systems of Ukraine, their practical realization in system of maps. Essense, structure, function, expensive organization of telecommunication systems of Ukraine and their place in the modern economics are researched in this work. The conception of maps of telecommunication systemsis defined. Rows of structured-graphic models, which regulate the scientific vision about telecommunication systems, are developed; the general classification of maps is made; the theoretic foundations and initial methodological principles of mapping of telecommunication systems are developed. The conceptional foundations of cartography system of cognition of telecommunications, based on structured-graphic and computer modeling, point of view manner are worked out. The maindirections of mapping of telecommunication systems are defined; themes and contents of maps and the selection of systems of exponents and methods of the cartographic reflection are substantiated. The technological scheme of creating series of maps of telecommunication systems on the base of specialized GIS is developed. The experimental work on compilation and design of series of maps is made as a result of this research. 11 maps of series were included in National Atlas of Ukraine.
