Essay

Based on wide range of sources and literature, the dissertation represents a research in the history of the formation and development of railway transports of South and East of Ukraine in the second half of XIXth - beginning of XXth century. The reasons and projects of railroad construction has been analyzed, as well as the dynamics of railroad system development and the influence it has had on the industrial development of the area, it has been also proved that the railroads of East and South of Ukraine were mainly built in the Donetsk-Kryvy Rih industrial area.
