Nikishina N. Love as the form of existence of personality

Complex analysis of the problem of love on the material of Western, Russian and Ukrainian philosophy is realized in this dissertation research. Posing and solving of this problem are indissolubly connected with questions about nature, essence, values and sense of human life, processes of self-knowledge and self-realization. Love provides entire and harmonious development of man, the optional realization of his personal and creative potential. Just it forms the man, the personality in this quality. In dissertation we confirm that a completely functionating personality is the entire, harmonious, unique, free, capable of self-transcendence and loving personality. This completeness is provided by love, exceptionally by love. Only the loving person is able to pass from priority of his own profit to the feeling of humanity, to the feat of world-creating, to transform himself and the world, to realize the universal connection and unity, to see the true sense of the whole being.
