Essay

Object - process of formation of the ecology-economic mechanism of regulation of rational use and protection of land resources on the example of the Lviv area. Aim - being based on an estimation and the analysis of modern condition, tendencies and prospects of development of steady land tenure to prove the basic directions of formation of the mechanism of rational use and protection of the grounds in conditions of new land relations. Methods - dialectic, abstract and logic, monographic, historical, graphic, calculation, statistical and economic analysis. Novelty - algorithm of definition of an integrated index of ecology-economic sustainability of land tenure, method of an economic estimation of losses as a result of deterioration of agricultural lands from anthropogenous activity at the time of their use for non-agricultural needs are developed for the first time; system of parameters of steady land tenure, mechanism of formation of strategy of sustainable land tenure, mechanism of regulation of rational use and protection of the grounds are improved; further development of theoretical and methodological bases of organization of ecologically safe and economically effective using of grounds in conditions of new land relations at regional level are achieved. Results - ecology-economic bases of formation of rational use and protection of land resources in conditions of new land relations at regional level are advanced. Introduction - definition of losses of agricultural production as a result of deterioration of land in Lviv regional central administrative board of land resources.
