Essay

Only one species of A. conchicola is established to parasitize in unionid mussels. 18 species of Unionidae family are its obligate hosts, 5 of these mollusk species are registered as this helminth's host for the first time. The extensity and the intensity of aspidogastrea invasion in 18 species of Unionidae family are established. Representatives of Colletopterum and Anodonta genera are, mainly, accessory hosts of A. conchicola and U. pictorum is more often auxiliary host. All the other Unionidae species are, as a rule, rare Aspidogastrea hosts. The influence of abiotic, biotic, anthropogenic factors invasion with this helminth is established.The influence of A. conchicola on some characteristics of their hosts is researched. .
