Bakal'chuk V. Ethnic-and-social vector of cultural policy of Ukraine: strategic priorities

The thesis is dedicated to scientific explanation of theoretical and methodological bases of the notion of "cultural policy", defining strategic ist priorities and ethnic-and-social vector of the cultural policy of Ukraine. The research resulted in improved notions in the sphere of cultural policy: interconnection of notions of culture and policy of its implementation were explained, notions of "cultural policy" and "subject of cultural policy" were defined. There were also proposed classifications of models of the cultural policy. These classifications were researched with consideration of roles in cultural policy as well as ethical principles of subjects' interaction. Based on thorough analysis of cultural policy concept of such international organizations as the UNESCO and the Council of Europe, key tendencies in contempopary cultural process, strategic priorities, and formation and implementation principles of the cultural policy were defined. There were proposed practical recommendations to improve regulatory bases of the state management in cultural policy and vector ot the state cultural policy in achieving key strategic prioritiees of ehtnic-and social development of Ukraine.
