Object of research: regulation of a labour market in Ukraine and its regions. The purpose of dissertational work is development of theoretical and scientific - methodical bases of regulation of a labour market old industrial region. Methods of research: general scientific and special methods, a method of generalization of the data, the quantitative - qualitative and comparative analysis, a statistical method, historical and logic the approach, a method of scientific abstraction, methods of association abstract and concrete, an induction and deduction and an index method. Theoretical results: will consist in development theoretical, scientific - methodical and a deepening of organizational bases of regulation of a labour market old industrial region. Practical results: consist that theoretical-methodological positions of the dissertation are a scientific substantiation of perfection of the mechanism of state regulation of development of a regional labour market of Donetsk area. Scientific novelty: for the first time the author's technique of diagnostics of regional labour markets is developed and realized; features of a modern condition of development of economy old industrial regions of Ukraine are determined and proved; the model of development and realization of strategy of development of a regional labour market is developed. The theoretical basis of research by means of specification of concepts "a regional labour market" and "a labour market old industrial region" is advanced; classification of segmentation of labour markets is advanced; classification of factors of development of regional labour markets has received the further development. Degree of introduction: a number of substantive provisions, conclusions and results of research are used by the Donetsk regional state administration; the Donetsk regional center of employment, and also in educational process of Donetsk National University.
