The object - is the learning process of the students of technical specialities; the purpose - is to prove the procedure of forming the information culture theoretically, to develop the model of forming the information culture of the students of technical specialities, to adapt the constructed model to the educational process, to develop the procedure of forming the information culture on the basis of the model and to check up the efficiency of the received procedure experimentally; methods - analysis, pedagogical experiment, interrogation, questionnaire design, conversation, graph theory, linear programming, the cause-effect and the correlation analysis; novelty - the method of forming the information culture of the students of technical specialities was grounded during studding the computer disciplines; the expediency and the efficiency of using the system of concrete intersubject connections of courses of computer science, physics, higher mathematics, engineering mechanics and resistance of materialsat forming the information culture of the students of technical specialities was proved and checked up experimentally; the approaches to quality estimation of the forming level of information culture of the students have received the further development; the concepts of information culture of the students of technical specialities were specified; the results - there were developed the complex of models of the process of forming the information culture; the procedure of forming the information culture of the students of technical specialities during studding the disciplines of the computer cycle; the method of estimation the forming level of information culture of students of technical specialities; there was introduced into the educational process of the the Ukrainian Engineer-Pedagogical Academy; the Donbass State Machine-Building Academy; the Moscow Road-Transport Institute; the Lutsk State Technical University; the Sumy National Agrarian University; the Ternopol National Pedagogical University Volodymyra Gnatyuka; the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University.
