Essay

The thesis is aimed at the research of the content of transatlantic relations after the end of the 'cold war'. The author attempted to give a complex analysis of the nature of transatlantic relations, models and lines of US-EU interrelation in the frame of reference: 'partnership-competition'. The dependence of US-EU relations on transforming the system of international relations and evolution of European integration process, including a complex of political and security problems, was determined. The research of the impact of transatlantic relations to the prospects of Ukraine's integration into the European and Euro-Atlantic structures has been carried out.
