Essay

The thesis provides a complex investigation into making national-territorial regions in Ukraine in 1920-1930 years. The motives and goals are discovered of making national units (village, councils, regions) and their setting and function according to the policy of the Bolshevic Party. It was analyzed the activity of national-territorial units according to the needs of national minorities, their participation in making bolshevists experiments in political, social, economical, cultural and educational life. Considerable place in the research is devoted to the reasons and liquidation of national village councils, the process of uniting and recalling of national regions are studied. According to the policy of „new course” and starting repression. From the experiment of making national-territorial regions in Ukraine in 20-30 years of the XX century the object-lessons were submitted. It was given the modern conception on low defense and national minorities interests.
