Samokhvalov O. Psychological Factors of Professional Adaptation of Border Service Inspectors

Thesis deals with the problem of professional adaptation of border service inspectors. In this thesis the sense and structure of the process of border inspectors professional adaptation have been revealed, the main psychological factors of border inspectors professional adaptation success have been determined, criteria and indexes of their professional adaptability on the basis of which the methods of professional adaptation level estimation have been worked out. The empirical research of dependence of adaptation process on the peculiarities of the development and structure of military-professional attitude and psychological readiness of servicemen of mentioned category for service activity has been carried out. Effectiveness of influence of complex of psychological means upon the border service inspectors professional adaptation process improvement has been determined and verified experimentally. On the basis of the investigation results practical recommendations on the types of psychological provision of the process of inspectors professional adaptation of the Borderguard Service of Ukraine for psychologists of the State Border Protection Bodies have been worked out.
