Risiq A. Organizational-methodical peculiarities of training specialists for physical rehabilitation in Jordan

The thesis is devoted to the problem of professional training of specialists for physical rehabilitation in Jordan. To solve the set tasks, there have been conducted analyses of scientific guidance literature and sociological survey among 180 Jordan specialists for physical rehabilitation, physical therapy and work therapy. Principal reference legal documents and law acts, educational programmes of section universities have been studied. The findings on health condition of Jordan population require introduction of disciplines forming the theoretical knowledge into professional training of physical rehabilitators, e.g. disciplines on medical-and-biological issues (fundamentals of nosology, gender and age problems and so on), on educational issues (theory and methods of physical education), practical abilities and skills (therapy exercises, massage, methods of health-improvement, etc.). Considerable methodical-and-organizational drawbacks in training of specialists in physical rehabilitation in Jordan are a gap of continuous professional education, insufficient knowledge of standard-legal provision. The developed pattern for personal oriented professional training of prospective specialists for physical rehabilitation at higher educational institutions may serve as an evaluation standard on effectiveness of professional training of new generation specialists.
