HAMA A. Kurd problem in the context of the Iraq crisis settlement.

For the first time in the Ukrainian political science in this thesis there has been researched in which way the Iraq crisis and its settlement influence the Kurd problem. The author considers the Kurd problem as a kind of ethno-political conflict, the matter of which are the political institutions necessary for the realization of national interests as well as the territory as a space where the whole scale of the ethnic group power is spread. In the thesis the Saddam Hussein's regime policy as for the Kurds in the 1990s is under the research and the particularities of this policy are stressed. It has been studied the Iraqi Kurdistan's main political parties conceptual approaches to the Kurd problem reconciliation in the process of transformation of the International relations system in the Middle East. The difficulties of this process are marked and the Kurds' attitude to the key problems of the political reconciliation of the Iraq problem is also determined. Another object of the research is the USA policy in Iraq and the role of the Kurd factor in the process of its consideration and implementation. The precise attention is paid to the research of the Iraq problem influence on transformation of the International relations system in the Middle East and in particular the evolution of attitude of Iran, Syria and Turkey to the Kurd problem. There has been propose the author's view of the scenarios of the situation development and determined in this context the possible ways to solve the Kurd problem.
