The dissertation covers questions of analysis idea and image principles integration in Ivan Bagriany works. For the first time in Ukrainian journalism science in this dissertation concrete forms of publicistic ideas and fictional images synthesis in Ivan Bagriany works are found out. The reason for Ivan Bagriany to write poetry before World War 2nd and become a publicist after are explained. Publicistic peculiarities of Ivan Bagriany talent are depicted. This author always writes in publicistic manner in his fictional works as well as he uses literary techniques in publicism.
