Holub I. Phenomenological grounding of the physical's cognition

The thesis focuses on explicating theoretical and methodological foundations, employed to investigate the issue of psychic datum in phenomenology. Based on phenomenology's basic identification of psyche and consciousness, the author argues for absolute correspondence between the essential structure of the psyche and essential structure of consciousness. However, the letter can be demonstrated only at the level of transcendental reduction, within which the fundamental characteristics of the mind unfold, namely intentionality, temporality and intersubjectivity. All those components are essential interwoven, they condition one another and their unity forms the transcendental structure of consciousness. Based on the works of E. Husserl and other phenomenologists, the author argumentatively demonstrates the advantages of investigating the psychic experience within the framework of phenomenological research.
