Object - elements of bulls raising technology in milk period with the use of different quantities of whole milk and milk replacer together with concentrates in pelleted or loose form. Methods - zootechnical, physical-chemical, technological, organoleptic and statistical. Novelty - it has been proved for the first time that use of milk replacers and pelleted concentrates in diets of steers raised for beef beginning at 21 days of age induces changes in structure of the rumen wall through increased proportion of mucous layer, decreased proportion of seromuscular layer, promoting better development of papillae in the rumen as compared to the concentrates in a loose form. It has been proved that transfer of steers at young age to milk replacers and concentrates in different forms promotes development of relatively leptosomic conformation type, which is characterized with better ratio between meet and bone tissues in the carcass. Results of researches - applied in practice and research. Branch - livestock production.
