Ishchuk A. The Philosophy of "The Heroic Personality" in the Fiction of the XX century

The thesis contains the philosophical analysis of the "heroic personality" phenomenon on the fiction of XX century background. The fiction works by E.Hemingway, A.Camue, F.Kafka, J.Fowles, H.Cortasar, M.Kundera are used to show the development and establishment of "the heroic personality" in spite of estrangement and deconstruction of the social environment. The ability to overcome estrangement is considered as one of the most important features of the modern "heroic personality". The main characteristics of "the heroic personality" of the XX century are formulated and their development is traced till the end of the XX century. The opinions according to the modern and postmodern personality are generalized and summed up. A special attention is paid to the main personality concepts in the literary process of the XX century. The educational institutions are proclaimed to play an important role in stable values formation and their sensible correction.
