Maksimov A. Substantiation of the methods of estimate and selection of the best Medicago sativa genotypes by the level of self-incompatibility

Object: the regularity of self-incompatibility show of Medicago sativa and peculiarities of inheritance of this property. Aim: the studing nature of self-incompatibility of Medicago sativa for next using in selection for founded of sintetic varieties. Novelty: the structure of Medicago sativa population on self-incompatibility was studied, correlating variability this property with pollen fertility level and seed produtivity was definited, character of inheritance by Medicago sativa F1 hybrids of self-incompatibility level was identificed. Results: the original method of self-incompatibility estimate by different geitomogamy pollination types. In results of research work were receiving forms with increased self-incompatibility level for the purpose of developed new synthetic varieties Application stage: the results of research work were using in Selection and Genetics Institute, Institute of Fodder, Institute of Agriculture of South Region.
