The theoretical generalization and new solving of the scientific problem which consists in the de-termination of age peculiarities and creative mathematical thinking of junior pupils as well as the devel-opment of the diagnostic programme and the formation of the creative mathematical thinking at the les-sons of Mathematics are given in this research. The process of solving mathematical tasks which are subjectively new for an individual is considered as a model of the creative mathematical thinking process of junior pupils. The experimental programme of the diagnostic and formation of the creative mathematical think-ing of junior pupils is built in the research. The most thoroughly elaborated method is proved to influence such mental abilities as the perception of basic arithmetic operations, moulding of the function of correla-tion analysis, mastery of verbal notions, the perception of forms, visual perception and visual-motor inte-gration. Considerable changes in adjusting the respondents of the experimental group thinking activity to operational and semantic stereotypes were observed after the formative experiment. Decreasing of the rigidity of thinking level is also fixed in the thesis. It is also shown that a share of the image-emotional components in the structure of the junior pu-pils thinking processes is increased as a result of the use of the creative mathematical thinking formation programme. An increase in logical, synthetic and productive thinking and the perfection of the analytical proc-esses of thinking activity are empirically fixed in the given research.
