Essay

Object professional training of engineers-mechanics in the higher educational establishments. Aim -to substantiate theoretically and to test experimentally the technology of formation professional skills of future engineers-mechanics in the process of professional preparation. Methods -theoretical, empiric, statistical. Theoretical results and novelty-the author is the first to define from qualified position and scientifically substantiate the essence and the structure of professional skills of future engineers-mechanics; revealed and scientifically substantiated pedagogical conditions of its formation in the process of professional preparation; defined the criteria and characterized the levels of formation professional skills of future engineers-mechanics; made more exact such conceptions as “professional preparation”, “professional establishing”, “professional competence”, “engineering style of thinking”, of future engineers-mechanics; further development got the theory of modernization of higher education of engineers. Practical results and novelty –set of working out the methods of diagnose of levels of formation professional skills of future engineers-mechanics; scientifically-methodical materials and teaching-methodical recommendations for lectures in order to rule the process of formation professional skills of future engineers-mechanics.
