Essay

The object – professional training of teachers at universities of France. The aim – to define and scientifically approve the main trends in professional training of foreign languages teachers at universities of France, describe the ways of using the progressive ideas of French experience in Ukraine. The methods – theoretical, empiric. The theoretical results and novelty – it is the fist time in Ukraine that the historical and pedagogical aspects of the experience of professional training of foreign languages teachers in France have been investigated; the main trends in the development of the theory of professional training of foreign languages teachers in France have been defined; the new aspects of theory and practice of professional training of foreign languages teachers have been revealed; the principles of the exclusiveness of the system of professional training of foreign languages teachers in France have been developed. Practical results and novelty lies in working out the recommendations concerning the pedagogical substantiation of modern strategy of pedagogical education in Ukraine with the purpose of integration into the European and world cultural and educational environment.
