Essay

It was demonstrated that during pain and muscle effort power had been increased in the subdiapasones of alpha-ranges. Such increments in EEG spectrum were observed in many regions of the cortex. During static muscle efforts there was observed decrease of power in alpha2-range in frontal, central and temporal recordings. It is possible reflects essential activation of the motor and motivational-volitional systems. During strong pain the desynchronization in alpha2-range was recoded locally in central cortical areas. Pain and muscle efforts evoked long-lasting after-effects in changes of EEG activity. Essential increments of the spectral power in 1-range were observed in anterior regions after cessation of pain influence and static efforts.
