Essay

The thesis contains results of a theoretical-experimental research of a problem of increasing of mental retarded pupils education which was solved on the basis of definition of didactic conditions of maintenance of knowledge on natural study. In a basis of such conditions is the choice of means of pedagogical influence (the content, technique, and organizational education forms) with the purpose of the differentiated and system formation of knowledge at pupils on their quality indicators. The content of concepts "education" (its purposes, tasks, functions, and components), "quality of knowledge" and "qualitative characteristics of knowledge" is opened. It is determined essence of these concepts in relation to mentally retarded children. The system of diagnostic tasks for studying naturalists' knowledge under their qualitative characteristics at mentally retarded pupils is developed. The author studied characteristics and naturalists' knowledge at pupils of auxiliary school on their basic parameters: tocompleteness, adequacy, sensibleness, системности, effectiveness of knowledge. It has been concretized and specified parameters and levels of knowledge (the general and on the certain quality indicators) concerning a naturalists' material. By the author it is determined and experimentally approved didactic conditions of maintenance of quality of knowledge at mentally retarded pupils on natural study on the basis of formation of their qualitative characteristics.
