Object – process of future teachers professional education; subject – content and organizational and pedagodical conditions for the forming of civil competence for future teachers of humanities in the professional education process; purpose – theoretical elaboration, methodical substantiation and experimental verification of pedagogical condition defining forming civil competency of future teachers of the Humanities; methods - theoretical: studying and analysis of scientific literature on the research problem; empirical: conversations, interviewing, questioning, testing, observation, analysis of results of scientific researches in the field of professional training of future teachers, pedagogical experiment (including certifying and forming ones); statistical: mathematical processing of the results of the research-and-experimental work and their interpretation; novelty – the first determination of the content and pedagogical technology of the forming of civil competence for future teachers of humanities, the next systematization and generalization of modern scientific approaches in professional education for future teachers, the making deeper the scientific knowledge concerning the content of the citizenship and civil maturity of future teachers, the theoretical determination of criteria and levels of civil competence forming for future teachers; results can be used for further optimization of the educational process, pedagogization of the social and cultural environment of higher education institutions; in the process of creation of manuals, training and methodic manuals, programme and methodic materials aimed at the forming of civil competence for future teachers of Humanities.
