The object - mass housing building districts of 60-70ies of the XX century built-on with Prefabricate apartment-houses of the first industrial house-building series (based on the examples of the series 1-480 buildings). The aims - problems determination and methods development of the modernization of the mass house-building districts of the 60-70ies of the XX century on the contemporary phase development in the cities of Ukraine. The methods - the comparative analysis, experimental designing, system analysis etc. Scientific novelty - for the first time the problems formulated and researched in the thesis are dealing with modernization of the mass house-building districts of the 60-70ies of the XX centure in the contemporary conditions, the methods of the modernization of the of the mass house-building districts in bif cities of Ukrain, the recommendations of the modernization of the territory, the models of the reconstruction of Prefabricate apartment houses are developed legislative and normative base. The results - the problems researched in the thesis are dealing with modernization of the mass house-buildinf districts of the 60-70ies of the XX century on the contemporary phase of developmentin the cities of Ukraine, the methods of the modernization of the mass house-building districts in big cities, and the recommendations of the modernization of the territory, the models of the reconsruction of Prefabricate apartment houses are developed. It is introduced in development of the city territory reconstruction projeects, town-planning substantiations, in adjustment of an existing norms and recommendations for reconstruction; in the educational process on specialty: town-planning and municipal services: territory management.
