Kaluzhna O. The Criminalistic Characteristic of Сounterfeiting.

A comprehensive analysis of the theoretical and practical issues of counterfeiting is carried out. The essense of the criminalistic characteristic of crimes, including counterfeiting is described, its peculiarities are outlined, the algorithm for its use by the subjects of proving in a separate criminalistic methodology and other fields of criminalistics is developed. The author identified the elements of criminalistic characteristic of counterfeiting based on investigative and court practice. These elements are: an object of perpetration, crime methods, place and time of committing a crime, a crime scenery, a typical trace location and a person of a perpetrator. The author also described the elements' criminalistic peculiarities, established regular connections among them, developed the typology of counterfeiters and suggested their social and personal characteristics.
