The dissertation studies social-economic efficiency of the integration of the Central Eastern European Сountries into the European Union. The problems researched in dissertational work are proved by theories of different scientific schools, works of domestic and foreign scientists. It is investigated and specified essence of concept "social-economic efficiency of the European integration". The specific attention is given to the determination of the new methodology of evaluation of the impact European enlargement on welfare in the new members. The basic conditions of application of the general economic equilibrium models for research of social and economic consequences of the European economic integration are analyzed and revealed. The opportunity of use of the general economic equilibrium model - GTAP 6.0 for research of influence of changes terms of trade on economic and public welfare in the CEEC and the EU owing to eurointegration is determined. The analysis of terms of trade changes in the CEEC, influence of endogenous and exogenous factors on terms of trade is done. On the basis of the lead analysis it was revealed, that enlargement of the EU in 2004 had positive social and economic effects for eight Central Eastern European Сountries. The theoretical model submitted in the dissertation shows influence economic-institutional factors of the European economic integration on public welfare of its participants. It is determined that the basic tool of maintenance of growth of public welfare in EU is Structural funds. The lead analysis, on the basis of model GTAP 6.0, of potential influence of creation of a zone of free trade between Ukraine and the European Union specifies a positive effect of growth of economic welfare of both partners.
