This dissertation is a comprehensive study of the basque nationalism's theoretical grounds, its forms of practical implementation and peculiarities of its evolution, linked to the conflict in the Basque Country. The study researches a theoretical core of the nationalism; highlights mechanism of its operation in social life; defines main reasons for the origin, evolution and radicalization of the basque nationalism; includes analysis of the ethnonational basis of the conflict in the Basque Country; highlights role of european integration in the practical political area of functioning of the basque autonomy; outlooks nature of evolution of the ethnonational conflict in the Basque Country; analyses and systematizes basic political legal mechanisms of adjustment of the conflict and outlooks prospects of its resolution.
