Derik I. 3. Prosodic Peculiarities of Internet Business Messages Discourse (Experimental Phonetic Research).

This dissertation focuses on the study of prosodic component in Internet business messages discourse on the material of the Ukrainian and English languages. Genre peculiarities of the existing types of Internet business messages and specificity of information presentation pragmatics are taken into account. In the course of experimental analysis it has been proved that the prosodic organization of anchorperson’s speech in different types of Internet business messages is determined by the quantity of emotional utterances used and character of attitudinal connotations present in the utterances. General results of oral, auditory and instrumental analysis of prosody allowed to come to the conclusion about the sameness of mechanism of different linguistic means interaction in the two examined languages. The research revealed that successful communication in Internet business messages discourse is provided by execution of adequate linguistic means reflecting the communicative intention of the speaker.
