Essay

The object is а regularities of forming of loads in suspension system of telescopic boom-type acting unit of road-header. The aim is to increase the life time of the road-header with a telescopic boom-type acting unit due to grounding rational structure and parameters of suspension system of acting unit based on established regularities of loads forming. Methods of researches: the system approach with use of methods of design of experiments, theory of probabilities and mathematical statistics, mathematical simulation, mathematical programming, experimental method of strain measurements. It is first time theoretically established and experimentally verified the stowage of backlashes in swing joints and in slideways of suspension system of road-header during the rock cutting. This process is accompanied by the high impact loads. It is developed the mathematical model of road-header working process, which is differs by accounting of influence of mean, stowage and compensation of backlashes in suspensionsystem. It is first time grounded the criteria (relational cumulative damaging) for estimation of influence of mean, stowage and compensation of backlashes in suspension system on life time of constructions of road-header, differs by accounting of increasing of backlashes means during exploitation of road-header. It is estimated up to 2 times increasing of life time of road-header intime cutting of rock by contact strength up to 132 MPa and much more for higher contact strength of rock. Sphere of use: the enterprises of mining machinery manufacturing, scientific researches and educational process.
