The dissertation is devoted to increase of effectiveness of electric locomotives DE 1 by the improvement perfection of protection system carried out on the basis of researches of transitive electromagnetic processes, which proceed in power circuits of electric locomotives in emergency modes of their work. The method of probabilistic the analysis of electromagnetic processes (both in established and in transitive operating modes) in essentially nonlinear dynamic stochastic systems which are power circuits of an electric locomotive has been offered. Thus entrance action is a stochastic function of voltage on a current collector. Mathematical models of power circuits of an electric locomotive have been developed. On the basis of their numerical calculations influence of probabilistic character of voltage change, initial established value of a traction current, degree of easing excitation, parameters of a branch of shunting and duration of voltage removal on transitive sizes: has been investigated. The technique of definition of parameters of the inductive shunt with the tape core which allows to project small-sized, light inductive shunts has been developed.
