Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of the actual scientific and technical problem on increase of energy efficiency of commuter electric AC trains on the basis of the concept electromechanical energy conversion by means of direct traction drive with permanent magnet synchronous motor and input 4 qs-converter. A simulation model of the link "traction motor - traction inverter" has been developed, the feature of model is to determine the instantaneous components of inverter losses by regression dependences, as well as to determine losses in the motor using harmonic analysis of phase currents taking into account losses from higher harmonic currents. A method for identifying the parameters of the control system of a commuter electric train 4qs-converter, which provides optimal, according to the traction network power factor, dependence of the modulation factor and the shift factor between the mains current and the reference sinusoidal signal, has been developed. A conceptual design of a commuter AC electric train has been developed
