Herasymenko V. System of automatic control of the traction electric drive of the tram car

The dissertation is devoted to the decision of a scientific and practical problem concerning minimization of power losses in traction electric drives of a direct current of city electric transport by improvement of system of automatic control. On the basis of the analysis of known systems of automatic control of traction electric drives of tram cars the ways of increase of power indicators at the expense of perfection of technical decisions of system of automatic control are defined. An energy-efficient method of automatic regulation of the magnetic flux of traction motors and a combined method of electric braking with effective adjustable braking force in the entire speed range have been developed. On the basis of the developed mathematical model the research of transient processes at work of the improved system of automatic control is carried out. Experimental researches of elements of the traction electric drive on full-scale stands for check of efficiency of the offered technical decisions are carried out.
