Thesis for a Candidate’s Degree in Engineering in the specialty 05.22.09. – electric transport. – O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv, 2021. The dissertation is devoted to solving the scientific and practical problem of improving the efficiency of urban land electric transport through the introduction of automated control systems for vehicle traffic using information technology. Based on the results of dissertation research, the following conclusions are made: The analysis of scientific and technical decisions on the use of automated traffic control systems on the basis of information technology in electric transport and analyzed information flows in the control system of production and technological processes of electric transport enterprises to increase energy efficiency. As a result of the performed system analysis, a number of interconnected models of the city electric transport system have been developed, which together allow to identify problems and formulate ways to develop energy saving measures for urban electric transport. A computer functional model of operation of electric vehicles in IDEF0 format was developed using the BPWin software package and its adequacy was checked. The functional-cost analysis performed with the help of the model showed that the main share of costs of the electric transport enterprise is the cost of electricity, which for the enterprise of 100 vehicles, with a total annual cost of 68.74 million UAH, is 30.49% (20, UAH 96 million per year), while 18.0% (UAH 12.43 million) is spent on workers' wages. It is noted that the accounting of electricity costs and the introduction of an automated vehicle management system, which would independently or in the driver's guide mode provides the choice of the most economical in each situation mode allows to increase the efficiency of the trolleybus fleet and achieve energy savings up to 0.19 kWh / km per unit of rolling stock per year on the routes of Kharkiv (Ukraine).
