Essay

Object – the process of forming students’ ecological consciousness specialized in natural science in the course of field study; goal – theoretical elaboration, methodical substantiation and experimental verification of pedagogical condition effectiveness of ecological consciousness forming in the course of field study of future biology teachers; methods – theoretical: analysis of scientific and teaching-methodic literature on purpose to compare and estimate various approaches to the presented problem, determine its theoretical grounds and interpret the definition used in the process of investigation; empirical: pedagogical experiment including certifying, searching and forming stages allowing to investigate the real state of the problem in terms of ecological consciousness forming; carrying out of experimental verification of the model and technique of forming such a complex personal phenomenon (characteristic) as one of the most important factors of professionalism in the course of student’ field study; receiving approval and confirming the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions implementation that lead to future biology teachers’ ecological consciousness forming; mathematical: statistical scientific data processing for analyzing and interpreting the results of the investigation and conclusions refinement; novelty – for the first time the model of complex pedagogical conditions has been concretized, theoretically proved and experimentally verified as that providing the fullest effectiveness of field study in the process of students’ ecological consciousness forming on the basis of systematic-structural analysis of the main components in the system of ecological consciousness; the pedagogical technique of ecological consciousness forming by means of field study has been improved; the key notions of the investigated problem (“ecological consciousness” and “field study”) have been specified and their meaning has been further developed; the essential features of ecological consciousness and its structure have defined also the essential components of field study in terms of systematization and concrete definition of pedagogical influence on the level of formed ecological consciousness have been improved; the methodic recommendation for the process of future biology teachers’ ecological consciousness forming in the course of field study have been elaborated.
