Derkach T. Metaphor in the Literary Studies Text of 90ies of XX Century: its Semantics, Structure, Functions

The thesis offers a complex research of the metaphor as important structural and content factor of literary studies text formation, an influential instrument for categorization of literary studies reality. In this aspect one identifies the motivational and logic-semantic mechanisms of transposition and further contextual and situational adaptation of terms of from other conceptual and notional spheres (linguistics, literary studies, medicine, industrial and manufacturing branch). Discourse pragmatics of metaphoric inter-paradigmatic neologisms is defined. According to the criteria of formal and semantic structure in the corpus of modern literary studies metaphors one singles out productive types of nominative (genitive), adjectival, verbal, and also extended metaphoric structures. There is a detailed analysis of their subtypes taking into consideration the semantics of nuclear metaphor creating component.
