Essay

The dissertation is devoted to studying of connections of electric activity of a brain with characteristics of anxiety at the person. Distinctive feature of research is the approach based on the comparative analysis of EEG-potentials of the person and various psychological characteristics, reflecting a condition of anxiety. In research of mechanisms of the specified psychological characteristics the experimental paradigms connected to subjective reaction on external and internal irritants, and also including self-initiated any movements and possessing have been used by a line of similar features: movements have been limited to some time parameters, and on success of their performance informed positive or negative signals of a feedback. Features of connections of electric activity of a brain with a level of anxiety and the features of psychological features connected to anxiety are found out. It is shown, that the features of the person describing a condition of anxiety, are connected to reduction in capacity of frequency components EEG. These features are connected to activity of frontal, temporal, parietal and central zones of a bark of a brain. Characteristics of the EEG-potentials caused and connected to event testify to features of reaction of disturbing examinees: so, reaction at them begins earlier, however the analysis of the information demands greater time.
