Krypak Y. Historically scientific analysis of becoming and functioning of the Prydniprovska railway (second half XIX - beginning XX c.)

Dissertation is devoted complex research of becoming and functioning of the Prydniprovska railway in the second half ХІХ - at the beginning of ХХ ages. Historical circumstances and factors which stipulated the socio-economic necessity of building of the Prydniprovska railway are analysed. Probed motion of preparatory works and building of lines, forming of its network is shown. Probed activity of scientists-engineers (Verhovtsev A.A., Filonenko M.S., Belelubskiy N.A., Mihin S.I., Stulginskiy V.I.) of the Prydniprovska railway in relation to the decision of concrete questions of development of technique of railway transport (track, building of railway bridges, rolling stock of railways, management of transportations processes, economy of railway transport). The complex estimation of activity of the Prydniprovska railway is given, its value is shown for becoming and development of railway transport of Ukraine and especially technique of railway transport.
