Barsyegyan A. Exchange rate policy of Ukraine in the system of macroeconomic regulation.

The dissertation is devoted to research of the general and specific features of functioning of exchange rate processes in Ukraine. The basic modern theories of exchange rate, their types, methods of definition of an equilibrium exchange rate are examined. The basic concepts describing object and subject of research are defined. The author has critically analyzed the foundation and evolution of currency system held in Ukraine and has examined the modern practice of exchange rate regulation. The basic laws of interference of the exchange rate and the basic macroeconomic parameters in Ukraine are shown. The model of formation of exchange rate in Ukraine, based on the general macroeconomic features of exchange rate formation is constructed. The basic directions of optimization of mechanisms of exchange rate policy are established and recommendations on improvement of the system of currency regulation in Ukraine are developed. The technique on creation of support system of decision-making in exchange rate regulation is developed.
