MОSKALYUK O. The Formation of Professional Direction of Future Social Workers

Object - professional training of future social workers; goal -theoretically substantiate and experimentally check the whole complex of pedagogical conditions, necessary for the formation of professional direction of future social workers; methods - theoretical: analysis, collation, systematization, the comparison and generalization of scientific literature with the goal of sorting and explaining the factual material; empirical: observation of the educational motivation, showed during the studying of professionally-aimed and professionally-practical disciplines; the methods of questioning(conversation, testing), standard and valid methods, which were used to work out the indexes and levels of professional direction development of students, who study Social Pedagogy; experimental: pedagogical experiment, aimed at the didactic effectiveness of the offered pedagogical conditions necessary for the formation of professional direction of future social workers; mathematical methods for working with the results of the experimental research: correlative and regressive analysis of the received results with the aim of showing the quantitative and qualitative characteristics, which display the effectiveness of experimental research; the novelty: the whole complex of pedagogical conditions, necessary for the formation of professional direction of future social workers has been defined and substantiated for the first time: providing the clear orientation of the studying process on the professional work of a social worker; using all the forms and methods, necessary for the active modeling of the professional work of a social worker; involving students in searching activities, aimed at the solving of the topical problems, social workers face with; making a favorable emotional atmosphere to develop an active professional self-determination; the indexes of the professional direction(the proportion of motivational components, which influence the choice of profession, the stage of individual preparedness through the personaland professionally-valuated qualities; the comparison of the social and cognitive motives of studying) and the levels of its development(high, sufficient, medium and low) have been elaborated; the structure and the components of professional direction of a social worker have been clarified: normatively-evaluated, motivationally-encouraged and practically-efficient; further development of the definition "professional direction" of a social worker has been gained; the spot and the importance of professional direction in the system of individual and professionally-valuated qualities of a social worker(the model of a social worker) have been defined.
