The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of parameters of the hydroimpulse machine for realization of threaded works on abrupt layers. The realization of a hole with the length of 120-150m will carry out with an impulse jet. Influencing of layer of destroyed coal that is between face of hole and hydroimpulse machine on the process of passing of hole was studied in work. Regularity of destruction of coal by the hydroimpulse machine was studied in work.The conversions of dynamic pressure of impulse jet depending on the thickness of coal layer before the generator of impulses are certain in work. The rational parameters of the hydroimpulse machine are certain: pressure, frequency, step of destruction of coal and corner of turn of nozzles. The diameters of nozzles of hydroimpulse machine for realization of threaded works make 10 and 12mm. The recommended maximal layer of the destroyed coal before nozzles of the boring hydroimpulse machine during realization of hole must not exceed 0,5m. Character ofdestruction of coal by an impulse jet is set and parameters of splits: middle length, speed of splits are certain depending on the number of impulses of jet. The basic results of work were used in the boring hydroimpulse machine (МBGI-1) and the developed design procedure of rational parameters of the hydroimpulse machine for realization of threaded works on abrupt layers. The basis of work displayed in 14 articles and 12 report on the international conferences.
