Technique fundamentals of improvement of passenger transportation on urban transport routes using structure urban transport fleet forming are worked out in the thesis. Correlation between parameters of distribution of intervals of passenger vehicles arrival at en-route stop and their total and unproductive downtime is formalized in the work. This enables en-route stop capacity calculation with an account of its workload degree. Distribution of intensity of traffic flow on the routes with common stop-to-stop sections and optimization of capacity of transport vehicles on routes with the combined mode of traffic are shown. Structural proportion of urban passenger fleet between motor transport and urban electric transport is determined on the basis of reliability of functioning of routes of different types of transport and city routes network pattern. Areas of the use of transport vehicles are specified by the account of socioecological constituent of charges of society on functioning of urban passenger transport and up-to-date economic realia. It is offered the developments to the method of organization of urban passenger transportation in part of transport vehicles fleet structure formation which take into account influencing of passenger flow on routes and carrying capacity of stops of transport.
