Zagoruy O. Influence of transport parking on the capacity of street and road network.

The dissertation is devoted to the resolution of the actual scientific and technical task of raising the capacity of the street in the places of intensive parking of the motor vehicles. The principles of the formation of the parking system using the parking lot as the engineering and planning mean of the road traffic organization are elaborated. Different figures of the capacity of the street depending on the way of the parking of the transport means, namely along the street, along the street and on the pavement, only on the pavement, on the special parking lots. It was elaborated the specific technique of definition of the demand of the parking lots with the use of the new characteristic, namely the transport areas and zones. On the basis of number characteristic of motor vehicles, that come to the parking lot, the mathematical model of "work" of the parking lots near the pavements was elaborated. It was worked out the method of definition of the capacity of the parking lot and the street on thebasis of the interaction of the flows of the motor vehicles for parking and their movement on the street basing on the providing the traffic safety in the areas of the intensive parking. In this work were used the methods of structural analysis, system approach, theory of probability and mathematical statistic, the theory of mass service. The results of this work are used in the work of the State Traffic Inspection on the issues of the supervision of the traffic safety in the cities of Ukraine, as well as in the curriculums of the National Transport University.
