Essay

Dissertation contains the results of theoretical-experimental research of problem of assistance to social-psychological adaptation senior pupils with mental retardation, which decided on the basis of determination of psychological-pedagogical terms of providing of compensation-educate influence on the noted category of senior pupils. Essence of social-psychological adaptation is exposed, indexes of its display, the method of its research is developed in the conditions of special school. New findings have been received according to the features of socially psychological adaptation of mentally backward senior pupils after parameters: satisfaction by mutual relations, absence of anxiety and aggressiveness, not conflict, emotional comfort, valued-orientation unity with a collective. The system of compensation-educate work was developed, directed on preparation senior pupils with mental retardation to social-psychological adaptation after directions,: optimization of relations of interpersonalities is in aclass collective; diminishing of neurotic displays for senior pupils, as indexes them disadaptation; development of ability of schoolboys to empation; assistance in self-determination of senior pupils and their valued-orientation unity with a collective. The results of forming experiment proved the necessity of its use in an educational process of the special educational institution for mentally backward children.
