The dissertation is dedicated to the research of International legal regulation of peace support operations of NATO on the territory of former Yugoslavia and the role of the UN in this process. The theoretical and practical aspects of this issue are analyzed. The basic attention is given to the analysis of the legal principles of NATO participation in the peace support activity. The author analyses the agreements, concluded with the participation of NATO, dealing with peace support operations and their correspondence with the imperative norms of international law.
