The object - is teaching and speech activities of children under school years (5-6 years old). The aim is theoretical and experimental research of the methods of teaching children under school years to compose reflection stories. Methods: theoretical, empirical and statistical. The novelty: pedagogical conditions of teaching to compose reflection stories have been defined and theoretically grounded for the first time. The terms “text” and “story” have been specified. The methods of teaching children under school years to compose reflection stories have undergone further study. Results: step-by-step methods of teaching children under school years to compose reflection stories have been worked out. The system of exercises, logical and speech tasks, didactic games have been worked out too. The effectiveness of introducing is high. Branch of science - pedagogical, pre-school educational establishments, higher educational establishments.
