Bilozir L. Global regulatory policy formation in the sphere of agricultural products trade.

The thesis is dedicated to a study of theoretical methods and practical aspects of the global regulation policy formation in the agricultural products trade in the context of Ukrainian accession to the global trade system GATT/WTO. It reveals the effects and interrelation analysis of the global agricultural regulatory policy mechanisms and buildup of the trade potential on the world agricultural market at trade liberalization conditions, development of agricultural sector to the level of sustainable growth and solution of the food safety problem. It also investigates the nature and the present-day situation of the global regulatory policy formation system in the sphere of agricultural trade. This thesis contains recommendation on ways to optimize the global regulatory policy formation mechanism of agricultural products trade. It evaluates the possible perspectives and efficiency of cooperation between Ukraine's agricultural sector and the GATT/WTO, determines transformation directions of the governmentregulatory policy mechanisms in light of Ukraine's accession to this organization. An economic mathematical model is proposed for the influence evaluation of the using complex of agricultural production support measures on agricultural production with the purpose of improving the mechanism of providing domestic support in agriculture. On its basis, an analysis is made of prerequisites for an effective implementation by Ukraine of the government regulatory policy measures in the field of agricultural sector of the economy.
