Kuharskyy S. The phenomenon of fear: social and cultural representation.

The object of research is “synchronistic” in the nature of fear. The purpose — the comprehension of the maintenance and laws of evolution of the basic forms of fears depending on social and cultural installations and anthropological representations of an epoch. The methods — the hermeneutical approach through the combination of philosophical and anthropological analysis of culture, cultural and historical analysis with approaches of historical psychology and some methods of interpretation of the facts. The theoretical results of the thesis and its novelty. For the first time the social and cultural typology of fear is offered (instead of psycho physiological typology). The toolkit for interpretation of the fears inherent in communities at different steps of development and during different epoch is used. Some of the Riman’s ideas were explicated and developed in sphere of public consciousness. The practical significance of the thesis consists in an opportunity of use of materials of research by development of new approaches to studying a problem of fear. The philosophical and anthropological analysis of problems of fear allowed to leave on problems of crisis of cultures and to clear the fundamental aspects of life. Results can be used for development of rates of interdisciplinary character on border of philosophy, psychology, sociology and religious studies.
