Thesis contains the analysis of the researching, engineering, organizational and social activity of ukrainian scientist Abrahamson A.A., famous by his innovative work in railway transport industry, tramway and funicular installations, his important role and significant contribution to the development of communication means and public service supply industry in Ukraine at the end of XIX - beginning of XX century. The candidate describes the scientific and technological development of rail transport and municipal economy industries by analytically exploring various information sources. Thesis has demonstrated that achievements of Abrahamson A.A. played essential role in innovative engineering and further technological researches as important theoretical and practical basis.
